BOMA Georgia August Luncheon: Roof Partners Tours Bank of America Plaza

Updated: Sep 12

Roof Partners, a proud silver sponsor and active member of BOMA Georgia for many years, recently attended the BOMA Georgia August Luncheon. The event was a delightful mix of networking, professional development, and camaraderie among industry friends. Pam Johnson, Roof Partners Account Manager enjoyed a fun and engaging time, further strengthening ties within the commercial real estate community.

To top off the event, attendees had the unique opportunity to tour the newly renovated Bank of America Plaza. This iconic building, located at 600 Peachtree Street NE in Atlanta, is the tallest tower in the Southeast and a defining feature of the Atlanta skyline. The 55-story, 1.3 million square foot office tower boasts a 90 ft obelisk-like spire covered in 23 karat gold leaf, making it a standout landmark.

The recent $50 million reinvestment by owner and operator CP Group has introduced new amenities, a high-end dining experience, and inspiring spaces, enhancing the building's prestige as a workplace and community destination. The Bank of America Plaza now features a conference center and event space, a 10,000 square foot food hall, a 17,000 square foot health club, and more. Its prime location in Midtown, adjacent to Georgia Tech and with excellent transit access, places it amidst some of Atlanta's best dining, shopping, art, and entertainment options.

BOMA Georgia, a trade association representing commercial real estate, plays a significant role in the state's economy, contributing approximately $4.2 billion, generating nearly $2.2 billion in new taxable personal earnings, and supporting nearly 55,400 jobs. Members of BOMA Georgia are responsible for managing over 281 million square feet of office space and additional facilities throughout the state, encompassing a wide range of roles from building ownership to property safety and security.

BOMA luncheons are not only enjoyable and educational but also provide valuable networking and professional development opportunities. The August Luncheon was no exception, leaving attendees with lasting memories and strengthened professional relationships.
