This past Friday, March 27th, we gathered with friends and colleagues for another impactful self-defense and boxing session. Led by the experts at Steele Boxing and Fuego Boxing, the class provided more than just a workout. It offered our CRE professionals a chance to build the awareness and confidence necessary to navigate their daily environments safely.

The Heart of the Event: Standing 8 Foundation

What makes these sessions truly special is the cause they support. All proceeds and efforts benefit the Standing 8 Foundation, a local nonprofit founded by Tim McDowell and Christian Steele.

Standing 8 works tirelessly to help young people overcome the challenges of homelessness and addiction through the discipline of boxing and mentorship. Their core philosophy resonates deeply with us: "Getting knocked down doesn’t define you, but getting back up does."
